Irving and Jeane Eyster have dug up much of the Florida Keys in archaeology expeditions, flown over the keys countles times, driven a few hundred thousand miles over the Overseas Highway, collected significant artifacts from all periods of our history and listened to countless people relate marvelous stories of life in the Keys.  Not only have Irving and Jeane lived the life of the Florida Keys, they have saved much of the Keys for all of us by preserving many of our important local artifacts, monuments and special places.  This book represents one more contribution to understanding our heritage.  Dan Gallagher
