Anglerfish by Tim Hemsworth
Description on back of postcard: There are more than 200 species of anglerfish. Although some live in shallow tropical water, others live up to a mile below the surface. Their most distinctive features, worn only be females. is a piece of dorsal spine that protrudes above their mouths like a fishing pole tipped with a lure of luminous flesh - hence their name. This lures prey close enough to be snatched and swalloed.
